Our Story

ZODIAC AMULET began with a question: what if the piece you wear every day could mean something about the day you were born?

A tradition older than any brand

In the Chinese zodiac, the year you are born is matched to a guardian — one of the eight guardian deities, or one of the twelve zodiac animals. The idea behind it is simple and very old: you arrive with something watching over the year you came from. We did not invent it for a market. Families have carried it for generations, and it is still tied, in China, to the red cord and the birth-year stone.

We started ZODIAC AMULET because that idea travels well — it needs no belief system, only a birthday. You do not have to be Chinese, or religious, to want a piece that quietly says this is the year I arrived.

What we make

Small, wearable pieces that hold the tradition:

  • Hand-knotted red cord and woven bracelets, tied the way birth-year cords traditionally are
  • Titanium-steel rings engraved with mantra and seal script — built to be worn daily, not kept in a drawer
  • Obsidian and tiger’s-eye bead bracelets, matched to the guardian of a birth year
  • Pendants struck with a guardian’s image, in steel and in plated gold tone

Every piece is made in small batches — knotted, inlaid, or etched by hand. Nothing here is mass-produced, and nothing is rushed.

Made honestly

We would rather tell you exactly what a piece is than what we hope it sounds like. So: our steel is titanium steel, and we say so. Our gold tone is plating, and we call it plating. Our stones are named for what they are. Where a supplier does not publish a full specification — a nickel-release test, for instance — we say that it was not published rather than guess at it.

And one more thing, plainly: we do not claim that wearing a piece will change your fortune. That is not something a material can do. What a piece can do is hold a meaning — and remind you of it, every day, closer than a calendar or a phone.

Find the guardian of your birth year

Tell us your birth year on the home page and we will show you the deity and the animal that tradition assigns to it — then the pieces made for it. There is no account to create and nothing to sign up for. Just a year.
